Ming Cheng Chien

Mr. Ming Cheng Chien was born in Shanghai and received his education in chemical engineering in the U.S.A.
In 2008, Mr. Chien joined LANXESS as Managing Director of LANXESS Buna GmbH. In May 2011, Mr. Chien additionally took over the position as COO LANXESS Elastomers B.V. in the Netherlands.
In February 2013, Mr. Chien was relocated back to Shanghai, taking over the responsibility as CEO of LANXESS Greater China. In August 2018, Mr. Chien was appointed President Asia-Pacific Region of LANXESS to lead the newly established APAC regional structure.
