Paul Lindblad

President, Wacker Chemicals(China) Co., Ltd.

Paul Lindblad has more than 25 years of experience with the WACKER group on three continents. Paul started his position as the President of WACKER’s activities in Greater China in January 2013. 

For the eight years prior to coming to China, Paul was a member of the Managing Board of WACKER’s silicon wafer subsidiary Siltronic AG. Earlier responsibilities have included managing WACKER’s Ceramic business (ESK) in Kempten, Germany, South East Asia Chemicals business head, and the site President for WACKER’s 200mm wafer manufacturing operation in Singapore. 

Paul was appointed as the Deputy Chair of AICM since December, 2017 and currently is the member of Advisory Board of CPCIF.MNC. He also received Magnolia Gold Award from Shanghai Municipal Government in Sep. 2018.

Paul is an American, originally joining the WACKER group in California’s Silicon Valley. He has an MBA and a BS in Economics, both from Santa Clara University.

Paul is married with two daughters. He is an avid reader, and whenever possible, active in mountain sports.
