Lim Yoke Loon

President, Greater China, Dow Inc.

Yoke Loon Lim is President, Greater China of The Dow Inc., leading all geographic activities in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan and based in Shanghai. 

Prior to being named to the current position, Lim was General Manager of Dow Coating Materials, Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. 

Lim joined Dow through the acquisition of Rohm and Haas in 2009. He started at Rohm and Haas in 2007 as the General Manager of the Coatings business for Southeast Asia. In 2010, he took on additional responsibilities as the Country Manager of Dow Singapore. 

Lim spent 11 years with Ciba Specialty Chemicals where he held various leadership roles in sales and marketing, before joining Dow. He holds the rank of Captain in the Singapore Armed Force with his last appointment being the Company Commander of an Armour Unit.

Lim earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Macquarie University, Australia. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, an Advanced Diploma in Plastics Technology, a Diploma in Chemical Technology from Singapore Polytechnic, and a Diploma in Management from Singapore Institute of Management. 

Lim is married to Catherine and they have two sons, Brenden and Ryan. He loves swimming, marathon, wine appreciation and travelling.
