Shen Wenzhong, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, received his doctor's degree from the Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in June 1995. In 2000, he became a specially-appointed professor under the Yangtze River Scholar award program by the Ministry of Education, and in 2001, he presided over the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. He has served as the director of the Solar Energy Research Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University since 2007, and as the director of the key laboratory of the Ministry of Education for artificial structures and quantum control (excellent in both 2015 and 2020 assessments by the Ministry of Education) since 2009. He once served as the chairman of the Shanghai Solar Energy Society, and currently serves as the honorary chairman of the Shanghai Solar Energy Society. He has engaged in research on crystalline silicon solar cells and semiconductor optoelectronic physics for a long time, with over 300 SCI papers published as first author/corresponding author, more than 40 national invention patents authorized, and 3 academic monographs published including Solar Photovoltaic Technology and Applications, Device Physics of Silicon Heterojunction Solar Cells, and Perovskite/Crystalline Silicon Heterojunction Tandem Solar Cells. |
