  • Forecasted China and Guangdong LPG market, performed sensitivity analysis and consumer survey, formulated growth initiatives, and predicted financial performance, helping an energy MNC turn its China business around.
  • Analyzed motivation for M&A, business models, market size, and competitive landscape, scanned potential targets and formed a M&A shortlist, guiding a local LNG group in achieving its "tripling" and off-site gas sales goals.
  • Collaborated with KPMG UK to design a roadmap and KPIs for packaging, marketing, agriculture, and climate, enabling the client to become the first organic baby food brand in China with an ESG strategy and prepare for an IPO.
  • Coordinated 10+ departments of a bank, identified strategic initiatives, and assessed risks and opportunities facing the development of ESG and green finance, enhancing client’s compliance, greenness, brand value and social impact.
  • Planned the 14th Five-Year Plan for a listed bank, fostering organizational alignment through cultural redesign.

Due Diligence and Operational Improvement:

  • Contributed to 5+ CDD projects involving biomass plants, wind blades, etc., prompting numerous red flag risks.
  • Quantified synergistic effect and identified implementation initiatives for the next 3 years, increasing the value of the deal for this large rail transit group by 25%.
  • Streamlined the entire investment process, established a post-investment system, formalized safeguarding initiatives, and customized ESG implementation tools, boosting a local SOE’s operational efficiency by 20%.
  • Evaluated the post-investment situation for an M&A project, mapped management issues to each stage and dimension using a balanced scorecard, and proposed targeted improvements, leading to a 30% cost reduction for investee company.
  • Led ESG initiatives, including ESG rating upgrades, TCFD gap diagnoses, FMCC health checks, SBT setting, Scope 1 & 2 carbon inventories, Scope 3 supply chain emission reduction, driving the company's ESG management.
