Xu Shaoshan, Deputy Managing Director of China Quality Certification Centre (CQC), visiting professor at the University of Science and Technology Beijing, member of the National Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality Standardization General Group and the National Energy and Resource Measurement Technical Committee, as well as the former Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of the International Partnership for Energy Efficiency Cooperation (IPEEC). With years of experience in energy conservation and carbon reduction, sustainable development, energy transition, government procurement, cold chain logistics, food safety, and block chain application, he has participated in the formulation of over ten national standards, authored more than ten books, and published over twenty articles. He has received 3rd-class "Science and Technology Revitalizing Inspection" Prize from the former China Commodity Inspection Bureau and the 3rd-class Prize for Outstanding Research Achievements from the National Development and Reform Commission. Entrusted by relevant national government sectors, he has been deeply involved in international energy efficiency collaborations within G20, BRICS and other multilateral mechanism, as well as bilateral cooperation with Germany, Russia, Japan and others countries. His leadership has directed more than ten research projects funded by the United Nations Development Programme, the World Bank, U.S. Energy Foundation, the International Copper Association, and the British Embassy. |
