Rui Coelho

President and CEO of Air Liquide China

Rui Coelho was appointed as CEO of Air Liquide China in June, 2023, effective September 1. In his current role based in Shanghai, Rui is responsible for leading the Air Liquide business across China, a business with more than 5000 employees in over 120 sites.

Rui Coelho began his career with Air Liquide in Portugal as a Plant Engineer in 1999. Afterwards he held different positions in France, Poland, North and South America. Before he took the new position in China, he was the Vice President of Large Industries APAC based in Singapore.

Rui graduated from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto with Master's degree, major in Chemical Engineering.
