Wu Changjiang, Ph.D, chief scientist of Sinopec Group, President of Sinopec Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Industry, and member of the National Advisory Committee of Experts on New Materials Industry Development. He has been engaged in basic and application researches in the field of new chemical materials and new energy for a long time, and has made technological breakthroughs in high-end chemicals for medical and health application, special rubber materials, polymer membrane materials and high-end polyolefin materials. He has won 1 special prize, 1 first prize, and 4 second prizes for Scientific and Technological Progress of Sinopec, and Hou Debang Chemical Science and Technology Achievement Award. He is an expert enjoying the special government allowance of the State Council, and Sinopec outstanding expert of special contribution. He is member of the Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China, and a part-time professor of Tsinghua University.
