Qian Mingyu

Team Leader, Environment and Circular Economy Team, GIZ China

Qian Mingyu, has PhD degree on waste management, graduated from German Rostock University, and has more than 15 years experiences around the topics of waste management, climate change, circular economy and rural development.

Mingyu, as the team leader of environment and circular economy team, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, is implementing several projects covering the circular economy in various fields including agricultural mulch film, packaging, good delivery, take-a-way, vehicle and textile.

Mingyu is simultaneously taking the role of Project Director for the project of “JingSu– Creating value from plastic waste along Yangtze River” and “Waste to Resource: Improving Collection and Recycling of Packaging Waste in China”.
