Vice President of Covestro, HSEQ APAC, and Deputy Site General Manager.

male, Ph.D., graduated from the Department of Chemistry of Fudan University in Shanghai and received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Houston. In 2000, he joined Covestro (previously known as Bayer) in America as a chemist at Baytown Lab. In the following years, he served as the Second Plant Director of the Baytown TDA and the Second Director of the Baytown DNT-TDA. In 2006, he was transferred to Covestro Integrated Site Shanghai as the Director of the Nitric Acid Plant. In 2013, he became the Director of the Infrastructure and Utilities Plant. In 2015, he became the Director of both the Nitric Acid Plant and the Infrastructure and Utilities Plant. In 2016, he was transferred to HSEQ as the Director of Policy Affairs. Since January 1, 2018, Dr. Ji Wenbin has been appointed as the HSEQ Director and Deputy General Manager of the Base. Since July 2021, he has been the Vice President of Covestro, head of HSEQ APAC, and Deputy Site General Manager.
