As Vice President of downstream nylon business in Asia Pacific, Angela Dou is responsible for the strategic planning for INVISTA’s nylon 6,6 polymers, specialty industrial materials, and performance and protective apparel businesses in the region, leading the sales of these products and driving the execution of key business strategies across downstream nylon business teams in Asia Pacific, as well as supporting the nylon 6,6 polymer plant and specialty fiber plant in Shanghai to drive operations excellence and quality improvement that will enhance the ability to serve customers. Ms. Dou has been with INVISTA for nearly a decade and is currently based in Shanghai.

Before this role, Ms. Dou served as Senior Director of Integrated Nylon, where she had extensive experience in commercial development, project management, and sales of intermediates and polymers. Prior to joining INVISTA, Ms. Dou worked at ExxonMobil Chemical, where she gained technical, marketing and sales experience in polymer business. Ms. Dou earned her bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science at Fudan University.
