Wang Yongxin

President of China Merchants Energy Shipping Co., Ltd.

Mr. Wang Yongxin has been serving as President of China Merchants Energy Shipping since January 2019. He holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Nankai University and a qualification certificate of Senior Economist. Mr. Wang also serves as the President of Shanghai International Shipping Research Center, Vice Chairman of Hong Kong Shipowners Association, Director of Hong Kong Shipping Circles Association, Director of China Shipowners' Association, Director of China Shipowners Mutual Assurance Association and Director of Members’ Committee of UK P&I Club. Prior to his current position, Mr. Wang served a variety of management positions in COSCO Bulk, including General Manager of President’s Office, Deputy General Manager of Shipping Department, Director of Legal Department and General Manager of Integrated Business Department. Joining COSCO (HK) Group in December 2012, Mr. Wang served as the Group’s Assistant President and General Counsel. He joined China Merchants Group in January 2017 as Deputy Director of Infrastructure and Equipment Manufacturing Department/International Business Department, and later as Deputy Director of Human Resources Department.
