Yu Baocai

Vice President of Sinopec Group, President of Sinopec Corp.

Yu Baocai is a senior engineer with a Master’s degree in economics. Yu was appointed Vice President of Daqing Petrochemical Company in September 1999, and then President and Deputy Party Secretary of the Company in December 2001.In September 2003, he was appointed President and Party Secretary of PetroChina Lanzhou Petrochemical Company. He became Vice President of CNPC and Party Leadership Group Member of CNPC in September 2008. He held a concurrent post as Director of PetroChina in May 2011. He was appointed Vice President of Sinopec Group in June 2018. He was appointed President of Sinopec Corp. in November 2021.
