Francis Murphy

President and CEO INVISTA

Francis Murphy is INVISTA’s president and chief executive officer. As CEO, he leads strategic growth and innovation for one of the world’s largest integrated producers of chemical intermediates, polymers and fibers in the nylon 6,6 and polypropylene value chains.

INVISTA is an independently managed subsidiary of Koch Industries, one of the largest privately held companies in America.

Mr. Murphy joined INVISTA in 2022 as president of the propylene business and prior to that spent 30 years with Flint Hills Resources, also a Koch company, in multiple leadership roles within its olefins, aromatics, polymer, base oil and light products businesses.

Mr. Murphy earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Oklahoma.
