Yan Guochun

Deputy Chief Engineer of CHN Energy Investment Group Limited Liability Company and the Director of the Chemical Industry Management Department

Mr. Yan Guochun, male, born in 1968, currently serving as the Deputy Chief Engineer of CHN Energy Investment Group Limited Liability Company and the Director of the Chemical Industry Management Department, as well as the Chairman of the board and Party Secretary of China Shenhua Coal to Liquid and Chemical Co., Ltd., having rich experience in the management of petrochemical and coal to liquid & chemical industries. Mr. Yan has achieved many accomplishments in his career. Notably, he played a pivotal role as the main responsible person of the “Development and Application of Shenhua Baotou Large Scale Modern Coal to Oil/Olefin Complete Technology" project, which was awarded the first prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award. Furthermore, his leadership extended to the "Development and Application of Complete Industrialization Technology of Shenhua Baotou Coal to Olefin Demonstration Project", which won the special prize of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation Science and Technology Progress Award. In addition, Mr. Yan received the honorary title of "Outstanding Contributor of the 2016-2017 National Quality Engineering Award". He is also the author of the book "Process and Engineering of Coal to Low Carbon Olefin" and has obtained 12 authorized invention patents.
