Dr. Sheng Hong is a Senior Partner in Shanghai Office of McKinsey&Company. Dr. Sheng Hong is the leader of Greater China Energy, Chemical & Basic Materials Practice; co-leader of Greater China Strategy & Corporate Finance Practice and core member of Greater China Transportation & Logistics Practice. 
Dr. Sheng Hong’s client base includes large conglomerates with diversified businesses, major Chinese O&G, materials and chemicals players, large Eastern Asia companies and multinationals with significant operations in China.
Dr. Sheng Hong joined McKinsey in 2006 and is based in Shanghai Office.
Dr. Sheng Hong holds a PhD degree in Polymer Science and Engineering from University of Massachusetts – Amherst, MA, USA and a BSci degree in Chemistry from Beijing University.
Before joining McKinsey, Dr. Sheng Hong spent 5 years in Arkema as R&D platform leader with experiences in new technology platform development, business development and setting up open innovation consortium.
