Mingfeng Li is President and senior engineer with professorship of RIPP. He holds B.S. in organic chemical engineering and M.S. in chemical technology from Dalian University of Technology and Ph.D. in chemical technology from RIPP. He has over 20 years experience in research and development of technologies for quality and efficiency improvement and green and low carbon development of refineries.
Dr. Li’s research fields cover quality upgrading of gasoline and diesel, chemical recovery of waste plastics, biomass oil processing, hydrogen production and utilization, and carbon emission and neutrality accounting for petrochemical industry. Among them, gasoline selective hydrodesulfurization technology and catalysts, and high activity diesel hydrotreating catalysts have been wildly used.
Dr. Li’s 515 patents were authorized and more than 100 professional papers were published.
