Zhao Kai Methanol Institute (MI)’s China Chief Representative |
Mr. Zhao Kai serves at the Methanol Institute (MI)’s China Chief Representative, based in Beijing. He joined MI in 2015, and in this role, Mr. Zhao is responsible for supporting and advancing the Association’s public policy activities in China He liaises with MI members, government and affiliated Chinese trade associations, media on areas affecting the methanol industry, including safe use and handling of methanol and derivative products in China. He co-authored a number of articles on methanol fueled vehicles;in 2021, he co-authored “A Brief Review Methanol Fueled Vehicles in China and Implementation Policy” in a book entitled “Methanol: A Sustainable Transport Fuel for SI Engines” published by Springer. He also serves as expert in a number of China national and sub-national standards, covering methanol fuel, methanol vehicle, methanol fuel fueling stations and alcohol based fuel and its infrastructures. |
