Mr. Lu specializes in China’s gas and LNG market analysis, with research focus including natural gas market fundamentals, policy analysis, and infrastructure development. He also participates in consulting works on Chinese gas and power markets. Prior to joining IHS Markit (now S&P Global Commodity Insights), he was a Strategic Market Analyst at Komatsu Mining with a focus on the Chinese coal mining industry. Before that, he worked at IHS Cambridge Energy Research Associates in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, where he covered power demand modeling and market fundamentals.
