Xiaodong has been in petrochemical industry for more than 2 decades and serves as a Director, Aromatics AP in S&P Global Commodity Insights division currently. She started her career in Sinopec and has comprehensive experience in areas of operation, technical, engineering, planning etc. for refinery and petrochemical complex. After Sinopec, she spent 3 years with a leading private petrochemical company for new PTA and polyester projects establishment. Before joining S&P, she worked for a giant multinational oil and petrochemical producer for 16 years in various commercial roles, including marketing and strategy, sales and procurement, spending the latter several years in PX procurement and trading.
