Zhou Liwei

Vice President, Party Leadership Group Member

Born in 1971, Mr. Zhou Liwei received a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Tianjin University, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Bauer College of Business of University of Houston. He is a professor-level senior engineer. From August 2008 to August 2009, Mr. Zhou served as Deputy Director of Production & Operations Management Department of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (“Sinopec Corp.”). From August 2009 to September 2018, he served as Deputy Director of Production & Operations Management Department of China Petrochemical Corporation (“Sinopec Group”) and Sinopec Corp. and Executive Director and General Manager of Sinopec Commercial Crude Reserve Center. In September 2018, he was appointed as Vice Chairman, General Manager and Vice Party Secretary of Sinopec Jinling Company. In April 2020, he was appointed as General Manager of Production & Operations Management Department of Sinopec Group and Sinopec Corp. In April 2021, Mr. Zhou was appointed as Vice President and Party Leadership Group Member of CNOOC. In March 2022, he was also appointed as Party Secretary and Chairman of CNOOC Oil & Petrochemicals Co., Ltd.
