Graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Ms. Weicheng Wang is a proven executive with over two decades of experience in purchasing and management roles.  Prior to Cabot, Ms. Wang accumulated extensive professional and management experiences in commercial, purchasing and project management for companies such as Cargill China and Air Liquide China.
Ms. Wang joined Cabot in 2010 as Purchasing Director of Asia Pacific Region, and later on expanded her role as Purchasing Director of Global Capital Expenditure in 2016. During that period, she also played a visible leadership role in implementation of several global initiatives in China and the Asia Pacific region.
In November 2019, Ms. Wang was appointed the position of Managing Director of Cabot China. She becomes the first female to hold the role of Managing Director of Cabot China. Meanwhile, she also assumes the role and responsibility as Sourcing Director of Asia Pacific Region and Global Capital Category.
In September 2020, Ms. Wang was appointed VP & RBD Reinforcement Materials, China in addition to her responsibilities as MANAGING DIRECTOR, CHINA.
