Zhang Yuming

Standing Committee Member of the 15th Ningbo Municipal Committee of the CPPCC, Director of Ningbo Green Petrochemical Industry Cluster Development Promotion Center, President of Ningbo Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association

Mr. Zhang Yuming is a professor-level senior engineer with a MBA degree of the University of Houston. He is currently acting as a Standing Committee Member of the 15th Ningbo Municipal Committee of the CPPCC,
Director of Ningbo Green Petrochemical Industry Cluster Development Promotion Center, and President of Ningbo Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association.  He was honored with Outstanding Management Award of National Petroleum & Chemical Industry Integration, first prize of National Enterprise Management Modernization Innovation Achievement, the 17th Ningbo Excellent Entrepreneurs, Sinopec Experts with Outstanding Contribution, and other awards.
Previously, Mr. Zhang Yuming served as the general manager of Basic Chemicals Dept. of BASF-YPC Co., Ltd., CEO of ZRCC. He had led ZRCC to become China’s first refining & chemical enterprise with profits exceeding 10 billion RMB, and resolved the "NIMBY Effect" of the chemical industry to promote the restart of ZRCC expansion project. At present, Mr. Zhang is committed himself to exploring the "Ningbo model" for the high-quality development of the petrochemical industry, assist in accelerating the implementation of the “246” trillion-level industry cluster deployment in Ningbo.
