Jian Xigao

Xigao Jian, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Academician of Asia-pacific Academy of Materials Science, Expert of organic polymer materials, Professor of Dalian University of Technology, Director of Liaoning High Performance Resin Engineering Technology Research Center. As early as 1994, he was awarded as the outstanding mid-aged expert, who also serves as the vice chairman of the journal of Materials China. As a member of committee of China Plastics Expert Association, he has been long engaged in polymer synthesis, modification, processing as well as their applications. In addition, he has received many awards and honors for his great contributions, for instance, the second prize of State Technological Innovation Award  in 2003, the second prize of State Technological Innovation Award in 2011, the Gold Medal of China Patent Award in 2015 and the Gold Medal of Special Recognition Gold Award of International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva in 2016 and more than ten provincial and ministerial scientific and technological awards. What’s more, two of his patents have been rated as world Chinese major scientific and technological achievements, and more than ten technologies have been industrialized. Up to now, he has compiled and published more than 500 SCI papers, winning the title of provincial outstanding expert.
