Li Rong

Head of Energy research of Sino-Link Securities

Ms. Li Rong serves as the head of Energy research of Sino-Link Securities, based in Beijing. Her current research focus is China’s energy sector including power, gas, coal and carbon economy. With 16 years of experience in energy industry, Ms. Li Rong has been leading various research and consulting projects for National Oil Companies, International Oil Companies, Utilities, financial investors, think tanks and industry associations. 
She is also involved in national energy policy discussion. She serves as a key energy advisory to multiple Chinese government agencies, including the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR), and National Energy Administration (NEA). 
Previously, Ms. Li Rong worked for energy consultancies including SIA Energy and Wood Mackenzie, and mining company Banpu. 
Ms. Li Rong holds a MBA degree from Ecole Superior de Gestion, Paris.
