Zhenglei Zhang

Vice President of URE, APAC Chemtura (China) Holding Co., Ltd

Zhenglei Zhang was born in Shandong, China in 1979.  He graduated from South China Univerdity of Technology in Chemical Engineering with master degree. He is currently studying for Financial MBA degree in Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
From 2005 to 2007 Zhenglei Zhang worked in Guangzhou, as Manager of Marketing Department & Tech Department in Guangdong Delian Group (a Chinese public listed company for Auto-chemicals) .
From 2007 to 2013 Zhenglei Zhang worked in Beijing, as China Business Head of TOTAL ACS(TOTAL Fuel Additives & Special Fuels Company) from TOTAL GROUP. In this period, he established  successful business in China from zero, and realized being the China market leader with continuous outstanding performance.
Zhenglei Zhang served as APAC Commercial Manager for Petroleum Additives Business Unit in Chemtura Corporation from May 2013. He achieved outstanding  performance and led team to exceed the target set by the company.
From May 2014, he served as APAC Senior Product Manager of URE Business Unit where he had a key role in driving APAC regonal business fast growth and achieveing fast continuously grow the business solidly and sustainably for both volume and profit in APAC.
Zhenglei Zhang was appointed as URE APAC BU Head  of Chemtura Corporation effective Dec 1, 2020.
Zhenglei is married and has one son.
