Chief Inclusion and Diversity Officer, Honeywell

Cheya Keve Dunlap was named Honeywell’s Chief Inclusion and Diversity Officer in April 2021 where she
brings more than two decades of HR leadership experience to this newly created role.
Building a strong performance culture with Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) at its core is essential to enabling
Honeywell to achieve business objectives and solidify its position as an employer of choice for the world’s
best talent. Because of the importance of I&D to what Honeywell is trying to accomplish, Cheya has been
appointed to serve this important new role as the Chief Inclusion and Diversity Officer and is based in
Charlotte, North Carolina.
Among Cheya’s key duties will be to build out an I&D leadership team in the company, and to develop an
integrated, data-driven companywide I&D strategy that spans talent acquisition, learning, development, and
retention programs. Cheya is also leading benchmarking efforts across industries and helping Honeywell
continuously introduce and embed best practices that help the company achieve its goals.
Cheya joined Honeywell from GE / Baker Hughes, where she most recently served as Global HR Director
for the Completions and Well Intervention business unit within Baker Hughes. She has 25 years of
professional experience, with over two decades of HR leadership that includes more than 2½ years serving
as Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer for GE Power.
Cheya holds a Master degree of Business Administrations in Human Resources Design, from Peter. F.
Drucker Graduate School of Management, Claremont Graduate University; an International Human
Resources Certificate from ESC Toulouse, School of Management; and a Bachelor degree in Political
Science and International Relations from Tuskegee University. She enjoys volunteering in the community,
traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
