Dr. Lubo Zhou

VP and CTO of Honeywell Performance Materials and Technologies Asia-Pacific

Mr. Zhou Lubo is the Chief Technology Officer of Honeywell Performance Materials and Technology (PMT) Asia Pacific. He is responsible for formulating PMT's technology development strategy in the region, guiding R&D direction, supervising technology research and development activities and the implementation of R&D projects.
Lubo joined Honeywell UOP in 1996 as an R&D expert, and later held various positions including Honeywell UOP Senior R&D Expert and Senior R&D Manager. Honeywell UOP, a strategic business unit of PMT, is a leading provider in the oil and gas sector. Its technologies help form the foundation for most of the world’s refiners, efficiently producing gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, petrochemicals and renewable fuels. Lubo was one of the chief technology officers of Honeywell Technology Solutuions. He also served as R&D Director at Honeywell UOP and Sinopec R&D Ceter in Houston, Texas.
As a research and development expert and technical management talent, Lubo has been engaged in the development of technologies and products in various fields such as oil refining, petrochemical and natural gas processing, many of which are related to environmental protection. Currently, he holds 42 US patents.
Lubo holds a bachelor's degree in applied chemistry from Tsinghua University and a doctorate degree in chemical engineering from Texas A&M University.
