Nicolas Poirot

President and CEO of Air Liquide Greater China

Mr. Nicolas Poirot was pointed as President and CEO of Air Liquide Greater China in August 2019.
Mr. Nicolas Poirot has served as Vice President of Air Liquide South West Europe Cluster since March 2016, based in Paris, responsible for managing the operations of around 150 factories in France, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
From 2012 to 2016, he served as Vice President of Operations Control & Executive Committee Secretary of Air Liquide Group, responsible for company performance guidance, strategic planning and investment.
From 2002 to 2012, Mr. Nicolas Poirot worked in Southeast Asia for 10 years, from Air Liquide Indonesia Sales & Marketing Director, Southeast Asia Regional Management Position (based in Singapore), to Air Liquide Vietnam General Manager.
From 1999 to 2002, Mr. Nicolas Poirot worked in the Engineering Department of Air Liquide Group. Mr. Nicolas Poirot joined Air Liquide Group in 1995 and served as Site Operations Manager in South Africa.
Mr. Nicolas Poirot holds a master degree of chemical engineering from Ecole des Mines de Paris and has studied advanced management programmes at London Business School and Nanyang Technological University.
Mr. Nicolas Poirot serves as Trade Advisor for Conseiller du Commerce Exterieur de la France (CCEF), member of the Advisory Committee of China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), and member of the Council of Association of International Chemical Manufacturers (AICM).
