Chairman, Zhejiang Rongsheng Holding Group Co., Ltd

Li Shuirong (male, Han nationality, born in July 1956, senior economist, deputy to the Hangzhou Municipal People’s Congress of Zhejiang Province) now takes the position of board chairman of Zhejiang Rongsheng Holding Group Co., Ltd., and acts as the fourth vice-president of the China National Textile And Apparel Council, vice-president of Hangzhou Chamber of Commerce, part-time professor of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, visiting professor of Zhejiang Gongshang University, etc. He was the prize-winner of “Zhejiang Merchants” in 2015, “Global Zhejiang Merchants Gold Award” in 2017, and also the first session of “Excellent Builders in the Non-public Sector for Socialist Cause with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era” in 2018. 

As one of the leaders of petrochemical and chemical fiber industry in China, Li Shuirong started from individual business and established one small textile factory in 1989, which was the predecessor of Rongsheng Group. 

With thirty years of unremitting endeavor, he leads Rongsheng Group to be a large-scale holding group specialized in petrochemical, polyester, spinning, texturing, and is also combined with real estate, finance, venture investment, logistics, etc. Currently, Rongsheng Group possesses totally the assets of more than 170 billion RMB, ranking among the China’s top 500 enterprises and China’s top 100 non-government enterprises, of which the main business scale takes the lead in the same industry throughout the country and even the world.
