Shi Wencai was named Vice President and General Manager for Honeywell UOP China in November 2022.

Honeywell UOP, a strategic business unit within Honeywell Performance Materials and Technologies (PMT), is the leading international supplier and technology licensor of process technology, catalysts, adsorbents, equipment, and consulting services for the petroleum refining, gas processing, petrochemical production, and major manufacturing industries.

Based in Shanghai, Wencai is responsible for the overall business development of Honeywell UOP in China, formulating and driving the implementation of transformation strategies, meeting customer needs through technological innovation and quality products and services, and leading the team to achieve sustainable growth.

Wencai has more than 25 years career experience in oil and gas industry experience. Prior to this role, he was Senior Vice President and China President for Meggitt China. Before that, Wencai held leadership roles at several multinationals such as R. STAHL and General Electric (GE). He took on multiple leadership roles of increasing responsibilities in GE Energy, Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy.

Wencai earned his bachelor’s degree in Thermal Power & Mechanical Engineering, and his MBA from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
