Yung Shin Hwang

President of LG Chem China

Mr. Hwang has been the President of LG Chem China since December 2022.

He joined LG Chem in January 1996 and began his nearly thirty-year career at LG Chem from domestic (Korea) and overseas sales team of PVC/Plasticizer business unit. In March 2003, Mr. Hwang joined Shanghai Branch and began his four-year work experience in China. Since January 2007, Mr. Hwang has successively served as the head of domestic (Korean) sales team, marketing, overseas sales team of PVC business unit, and India Sales Branch.

In January 2016, Mr. Hwang returned to China as the head of Tianjin Bohai Plant. In December 2018, Mr. Hwang returned to Korea and took charge of PVC/Plasticizer business unit. In December 2022, Mr. Hwang began his third journey in China as President of LG Chem China.

Mr. Hwang received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Korea University.
