Mr. Weiqi Hua, born in March 1972, PhD in Chemical Engineering. Expert with State Council Government Special Allowance. He has long been engaged in the innovation and transformation of high-end chemicals such as isocyanates and new chemical materials, he has cultivated an innovation team of 2,000+ members.

Hua has presided over 10+ major national technical projects, including National Programs for Science and Technology Development, National Sci-Tech Support Plan, and National High-tech R&D Program of China (863 Program).

Hua has led significant advancements in MDI manufacturing, green-manufacturing of Halcon-method PO, and other industrial key technologies. He has successfully tackled several critical technologies such as aliphatic isocyanates (ADI), Nylon 12 (PA12), and high-performance polyolefin elastomers (POE), securing 200+ invention patents. These achievements have led to the construction of China’s first Nylon 12 unit and the world's largest MDI and ADI industrialization units, generating sales revenue of 230+ billion RMB. These contributions have significantly bolstered China's chemical industry in terms of independent innovation and high-quality development.

Under Hua’s leadership, the ADI team was honored with ‘National Outstanding Engineer Team’ in its inaugural awarding. Hua himself has been selected for the national ‘WR Plan’ as a leading talent, as well as Young and Middle-Aged Leading Talents in Technological. He has received numerous accolades, including the China Youth Science and Technology Award, Qiu Shi Science and Technologies Foundation Award and the Shandong Province Highest Award in Science and Technology. He has been awarded the National Science and Technology  Progress Award (1 first prize, 1 second prize), the National Technological Invention Award (1 second prize).
