Liu Shaoying, a researcher, doctoral supervisor and project leader of Chinese Academy of Sciences Chengdu Organic Chemistry, is mainly engaged in technology development and application in the fields of fine polymer synthesis and application, chemical cleaner production process and catalyst research, environmental cleaner technology, and new materials. 

She has presided over and participated in more than 30 national key research and development projects, and mastered over 10 proprietary technologies. Her academic and technical level is advanced both domestically and internationally, with some reaching international leading levels, and many achievements have been industrialized. She has published over 70 research papers in core journals both domestically and internationally, and applied for/granted over 40 invention patents.
