Sophie Su is the Associate Director for Methanol and Derivatives covering Asia Pacific Region within S&P Commodity Insight Chemical team. Her prime responsibilities include analyzing methanol and direvatives' market trends, interacting with industrial experts for intelegence and data collection, and providing insights and advisory services to clients. Sophie joined S&P global, Commodity Insights Chemical team in 2024. Prior to that, she worked for Methanex, where she had gone through a variety of positions including Marketing, Supply Chain. Commercial activities, etc. Sophie holds a master degree of Finance from Zhejiang University and bachelor's degrees in English and International Economics&Trade from Shanghai Normal University and Shanghai University.
