Fiona Yu

LANXESS External & Political Relations Manager of Greater China

Fiona Yu was born in Hubei, China. She graduated from the Mechanical Department of Jianghan Petroleum Institute with a Bachelor's degree in Material Processing and Control Engineering.

Following her graduation, Fiona began her career as a journalist at a trade media outlet in Beijing. Over the next decade, she held various roles in public relations, internal communications and marketing communications across multinational companies in the software and manufacturing sectors.

In 2016, Fiona Yu joined LANXESS as External Relations Manager, based in Shanghai. In this role, she has led the company’s regional external communications for Greater China. In 2018, her responsibilities was expanded to include political relations and communications across ASEAN countries. In 2024, Fiona took on additional duties in digital marketing.
