Envision Net-zero Senior Analyst

Shijie Liu is a Net-zero senior analyst at Envision Group. He holds a Master of Environmental Management degree from Duke University and a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Fudan University. He has near 10 years of experience in corporate sustainability, climate policy and renewable energy. 

At Envision, Shijie Liu has provided carbon management services to dozens of leading companies in the renewable energy, retail, chemical, and logistics industries, including carbon target setting, emission reduction path planning, scope 3 accounting, and supply chain carbon management. Also as a carbon management expert in the ESG office of Envision Group, he serves various businesses units to develop net-zero emission strategies and carry out annual carbon accounting, emission reduction, and disclosure. He is dedicated to promoting the digitalization and low-carbon transition of the Group and its clients.

Prior to joining Envision, Shijie Liu served as research assistant at Environmental Research Center of DKU, and Research Associate at Wood Mackenzie Power & Renewables. He was involved in low-carbon research projects on topics such as the top-level design of China's Emission Trading Schemes, the global trend of energy storage, and the analysis of the energy storage supply chain.
