Zheng Hu has been employed at Wacker Chemie AG for 8 years and is currently responsible for procurement excellence for Wacker's branches and joint ventures in the Asia countries, covering China, Japan, South Korea, and India. The procurement excellence at Wacker includes three main areas of work: supplier management and sustainability, procurement analytics and reporting, and optimization of procurement efficiency.

Zheng Hu has been involved in TfS Working Groups 1 & 4 for 5 years, gaining extensive experience in supplier training for on-site TfS audits and Ecovadis online assessments. In 2021, he represented the working group to conduct related training at the 12th China International Petrochemical Conference held in Ningbo.

Currently, 80% of Wacker's key suppliers in China meet Wacker's sustainability requirements, and this number is increasing by 5% annually. Our goal is to have all key suppliers meet Wacker's sustainability standards by 2030, with no major findings in on-site TfS audits or scores above 45 in Ecovadis online assessments.
