LI Ying

Prof. Dr. Ying Li has more than 24 years of experience in Industrial Catalysis. She began her master research in Institute of Catalysis in Zhejiang University of Technology in 1998, the title of her thesis is Ruthenium based catalysts for ammonia synthesis, supervised by Professor Huazhang Liu. She finished her Ph. D. research in State key laboratory of Catalysis (SKLC) in Dalian institute of Chemical Physic (DICP) supervised by Prof Can Li. In 2005-2007, Postdoc& visiting scholar in Eindhoven University of Technology the Nertherlands (2005-2007) work with professor Rutger Van Santen and Emiel Hensen. In 2007, She joined Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT) as a Senior Lecturer and later being promoted to Full Professor in 2008. At ZJUT, she works on carbon and carbon based metals catalysts for the heterogeneous catalysts including the Ru/C catalysts for the second generation of ammonia synthesis and MClx/C catalysts for VCM production via acetylene hydrochlorination. He has attracted more than RMB 10 million in research funding as a PI. She published more than 200 papers and 80 patents, and most of the patents has been commercialized in industry.
