Peng Yuan

KWAY Capital Founding Partner

Peng, Yuan has more than 20 years of experience in M&A, investment banking and strategy. She has profound experience in chemicals & materials and the related sectors, and is specialised in cross-border transactions. She has worked on over 100 M&A and investment projects during her career.

Ms Peng is a founding partner of KWAY Capital. Previously, she was Head of M&A for Greater China at OCBC, in charge of merger, acquisition and equity financing activities. Prior to that, she was Partner at the Valence Group (now part of Piper Sandler), the preeminent chemicals M&A firm, leading business in China and part of Asia and deeply involved in a number of global transactions. Before that, she headed corporate development in the enterprises and had spent 7 years in strategy and foreign investment consulting in China. 

Ms Peng holds MSc in Financial Management from University of London, MA from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, and BA from Southeast University.
