Mr. Zhang is currently Vice President, CTO and President of the Central Research Institute of Sinochem Holdings. He is also the Vice Chairman of the 41th Council of CIESC and the Vice President of the 5th Council of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation He has been served as Assistant to the Dean of Material Chemicals Division of China National Petroleum & Chemical Planning Institute, CTO and Director of Innovation & Strategy Department of Sinochem Group, etc.

Mr. Zhang is a senior professorate engineer that has been engaged in petrochemical and chemical industry planning, strategic research, R&D management and enterprise management for a long time. He was one of the main compilers of the 13th Chinese National Petrochemical & Chemical Industry "Five-Year" Development Plan.
