Emmanuel Danion is a Naval Architect and Marine Engineer, educated in France, in 1975-1980. He started his career as a Navigation Officer and Engineering Officer on board large Oil Tankers in a well-known French Shipping Company.

Since 1981, he has been holding various positions with a global leader in the testing, inspection & certification services, French company Bureau Veritas. He started as a junior Marine and Industry surveyor in France and Hong Kong, then he held various Managerial and Executive positions in Singapore, Greece, France, Dubai and the Philippines. In 2015, Emmanuel was appointed Director of the Yamal LNG project, Yard Quality Services. 

Bureau Veritas provided support to Yamgaz SNC for the QA/QC services on 10 yards in China, Philippines and Indonesia, for the fabrication of 150 modules to be shipped to the assembly site in Russia. Currently Emmanuel is Operation Director of Oil Gas and Chemical Business Group, and International Project Leader at Bureau Veritas.

Emmanuel has a very extensive experience in the inspection of ships, machinery, equipment and facilities in service, as well as auditing in the field of safety, quality, environment, security and labor relations.
