Mr. Lu Weiguo holds an MBA degree from Reutlingen University of Applied Sciences in Germany and bachelor degree of Beijing Foreign Studies University. He has rich business experience in chemical, coatings and related industries. 

1991-2000, served in the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, managed international trade policy and issues,

2002-2013, Took various management positions in DuPont China Group,

2013-2015, Served as Business Director in Axalta coating system;

Oct. 2015, Joined Covestro (former Bayer Material Science) as 
Vice President of Greater China, Coatings, Adhesives and Specialties business unit;

From Mar. 2020, additional responsibility as Country Lead of Circular Economy Program of Covestro

Mr. Lu Weiguo is married and has two children. In spare time, he likes reading, running and swimming.
