As a senior engineer, doctor of material science from ACS, Dr Xiong devotes herself to the technical development of recycled, environmental-friendly plastics, promoting the legality and the industrial chain integration. She aims to manufacture stable, superior and standard recycled plastics. It interests her that how to actualize automatic and intelligent plastic recycling process. By means of standard evaluation of recycled plastics and accurate application research, she succeeded and became the profession leader. 

She got a good reputation in this industry. At present, she has applied for more than 40 patents, 20 of which have been authorized. Dr Xiong has the experience of participating in the formulation of national standards for recycled plastics, and published several national journal papers. During her career as a graduate supervisor, her topics include "Promotion of Low-Cost Waste HIPS Recycled Materials", "Stripping and Recycling of ABS Plastic Electroplated Parts", etc.
