Alan Lu

Director,Aromatics, IHS Markit

Alan joined IHS Markit in 2001 and he currently leads China aromatics team with major researching coverage on EO/EG, BTX and SM value chains.  In 2012, Alan was a Director with the Chemicals Consulting Group based in Shanghai.  Prior to joining Chemicals Consulting, he was in both aromatics and fibers research in Asia with primary responsibility for PET Bottle Resin for Asia, Polyester Fiber, PTA, MEG, Phenol and Acetone for China. Alan holds a Master degree of business administration from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and a Bachelor degree from Shanghai International Studies University.
