Yandong Zhang is currently the president of CAIJING Think Tank, managing editor of CAIJING Magazine. She is also the vice president & producer of CAIJING Pictures. Dr. Zhang received her PhD from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University where she also taught as an assistant professor. Dr. Zhang was previously a senior visiting scholar at the School of Public Administration, Tsinghua University, and a senior visiting scholar at the Columbia Business School. She is also a member of Global Agenda Council on Informed Society of the World Economic Forum. She served as a senior editor for People’s Daily from 1986 to 1995. Dr. Zhang has conducted extensive research on issues related to China’s transition, global economy and international affairs. She has authored and edited 30 books covering a wide range of topics on Chinese politics, economy, society, global economy and international relations. Since joining CAIJING Magazine, Dr. Zhang has published various articles that were well received by the decision-makers and the academia including “Reforms Need Top-Level Design," “Farewells to Economic Reform in its Narrow Sense," "Breaking through the Cyclical Historical Transformations," "Restructuring Economics," and "New Balance of the Sino-US. |
