Weisheng Yang is Chief Engineer of PetroChina, Executive Director, President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of PRI(Petrochemical Research Institure), and Fellow of the Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China. Mr. Yang was awarded the "Second Batch of National 'Ten Thousand People Plan' Leading Talents in Science, Technology Innovation" by the Organization Department of the Central Communist of the CPC(Communist Party of China), the State Council promulgated Government Special Subsistence and other honors. Mr. Yang has nearly 30 years experience in technology development and production management in the petrochemical industry. Mr. Yang’s research findings have been honored with a number of prizes, including Special Prizes of National Scientific and Technological Progress Award, Second Prize for National Technological Invention, Special Prize and First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress at the Provincial and Ministerial levels, etc.
